Whatever the particulars of your misfortune, you are now stuck on the planet of Nopplan, the most wretched hive of scum and villainy within the public domain. The good news is, you have a wallet full of credits. The bad news is, you have a wallet full of credits on a planet of thieves, murderers, and ne'er-do-remotely-kinds. Your only hope is to find some honest transport that will take you to Ultra Rome, the hub planet of dreams and journeys. Because all hyperspace lanes lead to Ultra Rome. It should be a routine pickup job. The company has sent you to Ypsilon 14, a rival corp’s remote asteroid mining base in the Outer Rim to deliver supplies and pick up the mining ore for processing. However, the reason you’re really there is industrial espionage. Maintain your cover as a delivery crew but find an excuse to pick up ‘Mike’ a corp spy for who was trying to find out what was really going on down in the mines. Unfortunately that’s exactly what he did…. Mothership is a rules-lite space horror RPG in the vein of Alien, Event Horizon and The Thing. The rules are simple so it’s a great game to start with if you’re new to roleplaying games. Players will need a pencil, eraser and dice (two d20s and two d100s (basically 4 x d10s)) only). I’ll bring spares along too. Feel free to roll your own character in the free Mothership app but please let me know in advance which class you’ve chosen. I’m hoping to build a crew of 1 marine, an android and two teamsters (pilot and engineer) if possible.

Absalom rich and famous love their sport, and the yearly regatta is the highpoint of the summer, and the wagers are as high as the temperature. With so much money on the line someone is going to try and cheat, and by someone that means everyone does! Cheating in the race is a game in and of itself, and the teams will stoop to all sorts of low tricks to win. While overtly killing the other team is strictly forbidden pretty much anything else goes as long as you make some semblance to hide what you're doing. You are a member of one of the teams. Battle 4 others teams to win the race around the island, dodging tricks and sea monsters. If you have ever wanted to try to Pathfinder 2e this is a good introduction to various different mechanics of the game while also keeping things on course. Feel free to be as creative as you like with your play style. Pregenerated characters will be provided, no experience required.

We are playing Cyborg (Börg? Who knows?) A Cyberpunk game where the punk part is turned all the way up to 11. As it is always the case with my games, there are no pre-written scenarios, or pre-made characters. Everything is made up at the table as we go. Some basic knowledge about Cyberpunk tropes are helpful but not mandatory.

This will be my first attempt at a ‘rolling campaign’ - an epic adventure uncovering the secrets of the Dragon Emperor over several months where players can drop in and out of the game. Each month will be a different adventure site. You can just sign up for one month, sign up for September and then take a month or two off or come along for the whole ride. More details to follow. Players will need a pencil, eraser and the usually selection of RPG dice (I’ll bring along a few spare sets too). The game contains the usual collection of races (humans, elves, halflings, dwarves, wolfing and er…mallards (duck people)). Let me know if there’s a particular race/class combination that you’d like to play and I’ll try and accommodate you. Bear in mind that the group will need to be fairly balanced though.

Will you give in and write your essay, or will you stick it to the man and figure out a better way to spend your weekend? Knowledge of the classic teen movie "The Breakfast Club" is definitely a plus, but not a requirement for joining this game. Characters will be assigned at random on the day. The game will follow the system set by The Film Reroll podcast, where player actions and rolls of the dice will determine how far we veer away from the original movie script. Expect a very different story. Game system will be a modified and simplified version of the GURPs rules. Players will only need 3d6 to play. Rolls are always targeting a number lower than the target difficulty based on simple player stats. Beginners welcome.

The founder of the Wasp Clan, Tsuruchi, was born the bastard son of a Lion and a Scorpion. He defied both parents, stole a castle from the Scorpion, and petitioned to have his clan recognized to protect him from retaliation. While that may have been many years ago, the Lion are not a clan to let a perfectly good grudge go to waste. Therefore, many in the Empire were stunned when the Lion Champion declared that they would no longer bear hostilities toward the Tsuruchi clan solely on the basis of history. To further the goals of peace and goodwill, the Tsuruchi have arranged a joint archery demonstration at their castle, Kyuden Ashinagabachi. Where, surely, nothing will go wrong... The PCs will either be delegations from other clans attending the event, or, if they are from the Tsuruchi family or ronin, will be working to ensure that nothing goes wrong. Originally launched as a trading card game in 1995, Legend of the Five Rings, or L5R is set in Rokugan, an empire roughly based on feudal Japan (with influences from other Asian cultures). The 4th edition extensively uses the dynamic roll/keep D10 system, so be sure to bring as many as you can; you may need up to 10. I will create characters for each clan, but if you wish to bring your own, you are welcome to do so as well! Keep in mind that this is a mid-level adventure and characters should be at most Rank 3.

‘Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn, and cauldron bubble…’ A local playhouse has reached out to you about the unusual circumstances surrounding the unfortunate fates of the lead actors putting on this year's Halloween performance of Macbeth. Of course the Scottish Play is cursed, but there seems to be something rotten afoot in the state playhouse... City of Mist is a game of supernatural investigation, where players are investigators touched by mythological influences who harness both their everyday knowledge and supernatural powers in equal measure to solve mysteries while balancing the push and pull of the ordinary and extraordinary in their lives. The game is a Powered by the Apocalypse narrative-heavy system, where players create 'tags' describing their character instead of stats, which they can then use when rolling (having more relevant tags to your roll = bigger bonus, essentially). -- Notes on Game: Characters will be generated at the table using a variant quick-start generation rule (answering questions to decide your tags); all you will need is an idea of what kind of legend or concept you want your character to be influenced by (super-specific like "Dracula", "The Headless Horseman", "Jack Skellington" or more vague, like "cyborg", "Halloween slasher flicks", or "post-modern rock operas"), some six-sided dice, something to write with, and enough wits to find whatever wicked is coming your way (optional: familiarity with Shakespeare's plays and Macbeth, spinning around three times and spitting over your shoulder any time you say Macbeth).

The crew find themselves badly in need of engine parts to repair their damaged drive system. Fortunately, a local tribe of Kinitawowi is hosting an annual "golf" tournament with a tempting first prize: a fully reconditioned drive system with star drive included. But will the dangers of this particular tournament be worth it, especially with a rogue simulant and his lawless crew involved? Second prize is a crate of yellow sticky notes and an assortment of ballpoint pens. Either way, they'll come out ahead… if they can survive the golf game from hell!

Andaluria is a land of sweeping vineyards where beauty and dread intertwine. By day, the streets and valleys are alive with festivals, music, and the scent of wine—but when the sun sets, monsters come out to feast. For generations, the old superstitions and folk rites kept the beasts at bay, but of late the nights have grown unnaturally long, and the citizens of Andaluria live in fear of increasingly terrifying monsters. In this adventure, you’ll play monster hunters who must investigate horrific crimes, navigate political strife, and slay supernatural creatures to protect the people from eternal darkness. The village of Oakmond has called upon you for aid. For the past month, something has been creeping into the village under the cover of darkness, leaving one person dead each night it appears. There are no witnesses. No one knows what the creature is, where it comes from, or why it has chosen Oakmond. The village is gripped by fear, and the people are desperate for answers. You have been sent to investigate the killings, uncover the truth behind whatever is stalking Oakmond, and put an end to the terror before another victim is claimed. This game session will use the Daggerheart system, which promotes narrative collaboration between the players and the GM. This means you have the freedom to create things in the adventure. This story takes inspiration from the campaign frame of the same name, recently released in the new Hope and Fear expansion for Daggerheart. Character Selection/Creation Pre-generated characters will be provided for this adventure. We will use the following questions to build a short backstory for each PC though. Each player will be asked one of these questions, at random, at the start of the session. 1. Why did you choose to become a monster hunter? 2. What rumor have you heard about the resurgence of monsters in Audaluria, and how do you plan to test it? 3. Someone in your community disappeared without a trace. What do people say happened to them. 4. Someone’s face, twisted in horror, is seared into your memory. Who is it, and why can’t you forget this moment? 5. What creature of the night are you sworn to destroy – and why?
