Asakusa Game Night 42
To Infinity and beyond!
Join us for an after work evening of TTRPG gaming at Infinity Books in Asakusa. Usually we have two to three tables of games, and you will be able to browse the collection of books as well to inspire your next adventure!
Whether you are a returning player or new to the groups or RPG games in general, you are more than welcome to join us for throwing dice and making memories.
How the Game Night works
As usual, we’re looking for volunteer GMs to run sessions. To set up a game, click on an open slot at the bottom of this screen. Once you've selected a slot, fill in all the required details, slap a cool picture on it, submit it, and wait for admin approval.
We‘ll have just one time slot for this smaller event, from 7PM to 11PM, though there is some flexibility with the ending time. We have space for 3 game tables, so if you want to run something, please let us know quickly!
Please make sure you sign up for a specific game on this event system, though please also RSVP to the main Asakusa event on Meetup for tracking and exposure purposes. For our equally fine playing folks, stay tuned for these entries coming up and pick your games. You can find an overview of the available games at the bottom of this screen.
We recommend to watch this space as well as Line for upcoming games, and to reserve your spot.
Please support the venues by ordering snacks and drinks from the counter - but you are already experts at this.

D&D 5eThe Oni's Right Hand
ENBeginner OKFacilitator:Yan
YanThe great oni Jadomaru is pursuing the trail to recover his cursed right hand, a mighty artifact that if recovered would restore him to old power. Having located it near a sleepy mining town, it is up to a band of heroes to prevent him from obtaining the artifact, or all of the community will drown in blood once the oni's wrath has been unleashed... The Oni's Right Hand is an official starter adventure for Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition only available in Japanese. We'll be playing it in English! If you are new to D&D it's a great chance to try out the game, and if you are already familiar with it, it is a great chance to get a look at an official Japanese adventure with a Japanese-style setting. Lvl 1 pregenerated characters will be provided, just bring dice and writing utensils if you have them.
4 / 4YanThere’s no official Japanese release of 5.5 yet, so all content here is for the original release!Friday, November 6, 2026 · 19:00 – 23:00

Trying to get the games set up early this time, so if you are even slightly thinking of running here in November...press that button! :)
@All A second D&D game has opened ! https://events.tokyorpgsociety.com/games/cmvmco56i00ro01ptmpsbsydg
@All If you're on a waiting list for Asakusa, I strongly suggest grabbing a seat in Charlie's game Little Miracles that just went up. We met Charlie at KaijuCon and had an awesome time playing in CoC author Royce Wilson's game together.
