The Weaver & The Redcaps

Invited to tea by a seamstress said to weave magic into the garments she creates, players venture beneath the eaves of Dolmenwood. Arriving at her cottage, they find the home hoisted high in the branches of an oak tree, the sounds of smashing and shouting coming from within. Can players defeat the weaver’s capricious captors and finally sit down for that promised cup of tea?

This Quick-Start introduces players to the Dolmenwood RPG—a weird fairy tale adventure game, conjuring the wonder, horror, whimsy, and strangeness of British folklore.

We'll be playing some Dolmenwood, the OSR game by Necrotic Gnome of Old-School Essentials fame. Basically, it's a modernized version of B/X D&D with its own setting, simple to understand and easy to get going. Will use the polyhedral dice, and your fanciest red hat.
