ボス・メーリックの腹心であり、それなりに頼りになる「レフティ」ことフィリップ・マンが、レントン・ステーションの地下カジノに身を潜めています。噂によれば、彼は敵対組織に機密情報を流したところを見つかり、ボスは彼を追跡・捕獲するチームを探しているそうです。スペース・カウボーイの皆さん、これは絶好のチャンスですよ！

『Scum and Villainy（スカム・アンド・ヴィラニー）』は、「Forged in the Dark」システムを採用した、銀河の辺境を舞台とする犯罪者たちの物語です。彼らは自らの欲望や悪徳に飲み込まれる前に、なんとか一旗揚げようとあがいています。『スター・ウォーズ』や『カウボーイビバップ』、『プライヴァティア（Privateer）』といった作品はお好きですか？ それこそが『Scum and Villainy』の世界観です。

「Forged in the Dark」系のゲームは、ルールが簡潔で物語性を重視したシステムです。プレイヤーがストーリーテリングに積極的に関与し、「何が起こるかを知るためにプレイする」ことを何よりも大切にしています。ゲーム開始前にシステムの解説を行いますので、ご安心ください。ルールはとても簡単ですよ！ ちなみに昨年開催された「KaijuCon」では、初心者の方々を対象に、日本語で『Scum and Villainy』のセッションを進行した実績もあります。

Scum and Villainy is a Forged in the Dark game of criminals at the edge of the galaxy, struggling to get ahead before they are consumed by their vices. Have you seen Star Wars? Have you seen Cowboy Bebop? Have you played Privateer? That's Scum and Villainy.

Forged in the Dark games are rules-light narrative experiences, that prioritize player participating in the storytelling and "playing to find out what happens." I expect to teach the system before we start - don't worry, it's easy! Last year at KaijuCon I ran a session of Scum and Villainy in Japanese for a table of new players.
