Description

When the world ended here, it came in a flood of ocean and overgrowth. Primal forces reclaimed their what theirs and more. The world's psychic maelstrom howled, a shrieking wind of fear and rage at the limits of human perception, never silent. Humanity hangs on, altered by these forces, enraged, fighting for survival and a future in the ruins of the world burned over.

This new world is far more volatile than the one proceeding it. No one makes a living alone and when there's company there's conflict. Who will you find in the lands twisted by vine and seawater? If there's hope to be found here, it has to be our own.

Apocalypse World is a critically acclaimed, award-winning, and influential tabletop roleplaying game. It's a high-octane cinematic post-apocalypse, full of action, danger, mystery, romance, and horror. It is receiving a third edition, currently available in playtest form. Apocalypse World is the stem for the family of games called Powered by the Apocalypse (PBTA) and this edition brings a decade of development in this space to the system that started it all.

The backbone of the game are its moves. A move is a character option or an action your character can take, expressed in a tight and consequential little package of rules.

Beginners are welcome!

We will be creating characters as we go, I will have prepared a starting point, history and some people for us to meet but other than that, we will find the narrative together. The game uses 2d6. Bring a pencil and an eraser, but I will have spare materials for anyone who needs it.
