State of the Empire

The Judges begin in their morning briefing at their station house. Judge Stoll is conducting the briefing and assigning tasks. Behind him is a huge vidscreen map of this area of Mega-City One, with bright flashing red dots indicating crimes in progress.

‘Three days ago Judge Alvin was ambushed and killed by one of the gangs hiding out in the old Empire State Building,’ Stoll begins. ‘The perps responsible have been dealt with and Chief Judge Goodman has ordered the building cleared of all perp gangs. The Empire State will no longer be a safe refuge. With that in mind you are all going to be involved in a major raid on the building. Look at your screens, you will see the rosters there and which Judges will be part of your team.’
