Escape from Nopplan

Just yesterday you were another optimistic, happy-go-lucky wanderer of the galaxy, ready to join an exciting adventure in some far off system where the people were as beautiful as the nebulae and the credits flowed like cosmic rays. Then things went south; your job offer was cancelled, you found your lover sleeping with a Martian, the ship you had scheduled got disintegrated by a supernova, things of that nature.

Whatever the particulars of your misfortune, you are now stuck on the planet of Nopplan, the most wretched hive of scum and villainy within the public domain. The good news is, you have a wallet full of credits. The bad news is, you have a wallet full of credits on a planet of thieves, murderers, and ne'er-do-remotely-kinds. Your only hope is to find some honest transport that will take you to Ultra Rome, the hub planet of dreams and journeys. Because all hyperspace lanes lead to Ultra Rome.
